I join through the counselling with the cutoff of around in 97 percentage actually I am a lateral entry student so for myself I put the first college name in counselling that was a my college and get through the admission by the Tamilnadu Government counselling process

College campus is small, so many restrictions while going outside the college.

Eligibility of the course is have to pass in all subjects in 12th.No application form is available.For admission we have to approach college directly for management quota and for government quota shall approach by tnea counselling.Entrance exams are conducted for every year.The entrance exam will be moderate. Admission process is simple.

Apart from the academics they encourage us to do self study to improve our skills like coding, fullstock development especially for GATE preparation.Many labs are available and incubation labs, many coe are available.

Why to Join KCE..!!

The campus life and social life inside the campus was amazing.They also have culturals fests like dhruva which was quite enjoyable.Many VIPs arrived and it was a hell out of fun.
The course itself was superb and I choose BE. Electrical and Electronics Engineering because I had interest in core related jobs. This college provided me that course and also have good teaching faculties.

The placement is only provided for it related departments and the core related departments are also forced to join in IT companies. I am unsatisfied because of this behaviour.
The hostel facilities are good like accommodation.but the food is not proper and we have to spent our extra money to buy food in the food courts.

The admission process is very simple. Just reach out to the college and speak with the admission counselor and they would fill the admission application formand if u have joined via government counseling, just take a copy of that counseling validation certificate and present it in the office.

The curriculum is CBCS( choice based credit system). By this we can choose our subjects and by it's credit value. In my department of Electrical and electronics engineering, I have many core related courses which helped me to gain many knowledge in my sector. The exams are kept thrice in a semester.they are known as cumulative internal assessment ( CIA).

Teachers are very gentle and very supportive for every students,they are very talented and motivate the student for their career

Therefore,the fees structure could be less and they can reduce the fees but they didn't
Some class rooms are damaged and some lab does not have air conditioner

B.Sc and BCA degree students are the most eligible candidates for the course but other courses student thinks that they cannot study this course, Not everyone can study this MCA course but the other degree students should study some subject paper extra has a bridge course in every semester...If the fees paid get late the finished fine for the fees is based On the due days

I'm a MCA Student,this course is very important for this real world because by this course we can learn about the real time difficulties in the IT field and current affairs real time entity, And I'm suggest to every student to done a master pg degree because they can also learn real world which is outside of the college...

Too much inside Kundrathur, long distance

The cut-off plays a major role for students joining through the government quote. Around 186 is the eligibility cut-off to join the college. The college ranks high in the NIRF Ranking so getting an admission requires high score in the 12th grade. Students applied for entrance exam go through 2 rounds one, theoretically and one, by an interview. Only the shortlisted students from the theory exams that consists of a set of aptitude and logical questions along with questions based on previous knowledge, are taken to the second round. The filtered students who get selected at interview are called to discuss the admission process. The cut-off and entrance exam scores help in scholarship purposes.

The course curriculum is basic in the first semester, to facilitate the student's college life in the beginning. First semester usually consists of the same subjects as 12th grade. Core subjects begin only from the 3rd semester. In the final 3 semesters, students are given choices to choose their elective subjects according to the domain they prefer to pursue after college.

My Opinion about My college.

Good teaching. Good communication skills and experienced staffs. Friendly and helpful staffs.

No separate timing for library. Timing is more in classes than practical labs and classes.

The admission process I have gone through is really interesting. They bring me all classes and labs and explained every single things. Then only I got my admission forms. I think its a good method to take the students with them by showing all their facilities in the college makes them to make decisions easier

The course i have taken is ECE.In communication field I can able to learn new things which is very helpful to real world applications. Embedded technology requires more concentration and knowledge. Time management is very important in exams.

Review on Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering

The campus is too pleasant to watch out with a vast area.
The freedom got by the students compared to other colleges in Chennai is extraordinary.

Fetches a lot of money in the name of placement.

The admission process comprises of 2 ways : The first and predominant form of admission is through merit based (i.e. The student's cutoff plays the major role .The one with highest cutoff will be occupying the seat The other form of admission is through the management quota.Here the students got to pay the required donation amount to the college to get the seats in the desired department.

Actually i have chosen this course since my parents insisted me because everyone in my family are an electrical engineers. So i too got a basic knowledge on the course which i have opted .This college is very well known for its placements and especially the syllabus thought here are mostly updated which is affiliated with some core industries of Electrical based ones.This makes the students to learn practically as well which is very helpful in their future. To ensure the knowledge of the students , each and every department confucts examinations in the name of FAT for every single months . This makes the students to learn the curriculum in depth .

There will be 8 subjects and 5 CO in each subject and 2 tutorial test 2 CA teat 1 final semester for each subject and 6 semesters . Each subject is really good and important of the field you choose and in 8 subject there will be 3 lab subjects and 5 theory subject
