ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor is making some big investments at city pools to combat a diarrhea-causing parasite.

City Council voted this week to OK a $188,503 contract with Aquatic Source LLC for ultraviolet disinfection systems for the city’s outdoor public pools at Veterans Memorial Park, Fuller Park and Buhr Park, plus an additional $28,275 contingency for potential contract change orders.
