Ever wondered what became of Angela Featherstone, the Friends actress whose storyline sparked the famous "we were on a break!" line?

The actress portrayed Chloe the copy girl – aka the "hot girl from the Xerox place" – for just two episodes of the beloved sitcom back in 1997, but her relationship-ending actions with David Schwimmer's Ross Geller had a lasting impact on the show and its fans.

Chloe made her debut in 'The One Where Ross and Rachel Take a Break', where she slept with Ross after he and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) had a big fight, and then re-appeared in 'The One With The Morning After' as Ross tried to stop Rachel from finding out what had happened.

Nowadays, Angela is a writer living in Los Angeles, and it seems like she's more focused on working behind the camera, having written a variety of sitcoms for DreamWorks and Sony Television.

The actress-turned-screenwriter, who also starred in Adam Sandler classic The Wedding Singer and Ray Donovan, has also now swapped her cropped red hair from Friends for blonde locks (it's been 23 years, after all).

Elsewhere in Central Perk territory, series co-creator Marta Kauffman previously confirmed that the Friends reunion special for HBO Max was aiming to shoot this month after a lengthy delay, but Jennifer Aniston later confirmed that it had been delayed once again.

But the star is remaining optimistic, assuring fans that the delay has given the team "more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been".

"I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed," she added. "Look, we're not going anywhere. You're never going to get rid of Friends, sorry. You're stuck with us for life, guys."

Alongside Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and Schwimmer are all on board for this one – wouldn't it be great to get an Angela cameo too?

Friends airs daily on Comedy Central in the UK and is also streaming on Netflix in the UK.
