It's constant motion for parents Angela Bassett, 48, and Courtney B. Vance, 46, whose twins – son Slater (left) and daughter Bronwyn – were born via a surrogate. "If I can put some clothes on by 5 p.m., it's quite an accomplishment," says Bassett, who still tracks bottles and changes in a spreadsheet.

What a beautiful black family. My question is always about whether they used her eggs and his sperm for the children or are the children his biologically and the surrogate? Not that it matters, but I was just curious about it.

If I'm not mistaken, it's their eggs and sperm. Angela couldn't conceive but had viable eggs. I want to say I read that in O, but don't quote me.

I'm so happy for them. What a beautiful family. The article talks about how Courtney quit Law & Order to move back to LA with the family. If it were me, I would have moved the family to NY rather than staying in Hollyweird.

I have been wathcing L&O for seventyeleven yrs and never realized he was married to Angela Bassett. Love them both! Beautiful babies!

i don't know for sure either.. but i believe it, because those children truly look like the two of them! :)
