age of 16, Amy had been writing songs for 6 years and left home to
pursue a career as a singer song writer. By the age of 21 she was
playing the acoustic club scene with a large following. Her recordings
featured performances by Michael McDonald, Benmont Tench, Russ Kunkel
and Leland Sklar. She was given excellent reviews by the L.A. Times and
Los Angeles Magizane. She was said to have re-discovered folk music
