What kind of an idiot suspended LA Police officer (Lister) goes after four armed and crooked cops without even a firearm, assuming they are all just a bunch of redneck country hick cowboys who never used a gun in their lives? And who goes on a search and rescue mission against an entire group of armed officers "expecting them" to put their handguns down and fight him with their bare fists... ??? It really makes the whole bunch of them look like a bunch of idiots with no tactical, shooting or even mixed martial arts skills at all, just their brute force (which they do) and just SLUG IT OUT together...
Some of the crucial parts (the rescue especially) are just not very credible... But I gave it four stars because the dirty cops were so arrogant and cocky that I really wanted to see them die a slow painful death, and some of that was at least partially satisfied, with the way Lister brutalized a few of them, after catching ALL OF THEM off-guard to get the information about where the one good female cop was being held hostage.
Good Story line, but the bad guys were better actors than the one good guy! "Neanderthal Cave Man comes to the rescue" at ending

The story line was pretty decent, but the main character, Mr Lister, could use a little help with his Neanderthal Caveman form of search and rescue justice... Really??? Even morons know not to walk into a gun fight with a knife, right? but in Lister's case, he didn't even take a knife, he went after them barehanded in the end???... and he conveniently had a BAZOOKA in the trunk of his car at the end, for the grand finale???
