Can i watch the AHS seasons in any order?

While you could watch almost all the seasons by themselves (the exception being maybe Apocalypse) there's a lot of callbacks and continued storylines throughout the seasons. Like for example, Freak Show gives more background to one of the characters from Asylum and ties in one of the new characters storylines to another character from that season, Hotel has one of the witches from Coven briefly show up at the hotel, Roanoke has a connection to a family from Freak Show, etc.

The storylines themselves are self-contained though and could be watched without the prior knowledge of these characters, but it definitely adds to it when you're already familiar with them. Apocalypse is the only exception, being a sequel to Coven and, to a lesser extent, Murder House and has ties to other seasons as wel

Later seasons have some ties to Asylum. Also. It’s a great season.

Besides i think apocalypse, yes. Apocalypse is connected to Murder house, Coven and Hotel.

You can, but you won't get the little cameos of characters from previous seasons.

You’ll get some Easter eggs out of order, but it doesn’t matter. For instance, I watched Hotel before Coven, and had no idea who Queenie was. But after watching Coven, it made more sense. Like others said, you only need to worry about apocalypse. It’s related to Murder House, Coven, and Hotel.

That’s what I’m doing right now. Am I supposed to be watching them in order? I finished delicate and started watching asylum, afterwards I watched coven and now I just finished episode 1 of hotel and I was thinking maybe I’ll watch murder house afterwards
