Ambrosia served up amazing, imaginative food.
We eat really well in Santiago - this was the very best.
Despite serving really accomplished food, it's a fun & casual place, with absolutely no pretension or airs & graces.
Seriously impressed with the cooking here and great value.

Visiting Santiago from London. Great little restaurant. Friendly, efficient staff and good food. Steak cooked perfectly, risotto one of the best we have had. Device type starter a little disappointing. Would recommend.

We went to Ambrosia for an early dinner and selected to sit at the bar. We spoke with the bartender who recommended some local cocktails and mocktails. I appreciated that they had some non-alcoholic choices as well. We had the chance to watch the kitchen prepare the food which was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is small and the whole team was friendly and we had a nice time speaking with them. We liked it so much we wanted to return the next night but we had to leave Santiago.

Great small chef driven restaurant. Food was wonderful and service was knowledgeable and attentive. It was fun to sit near the open kitchen and watch the chefs at work. The sourdough toasted bread with umami butter was so tasty and a bargain.

This is a real gem in Santiago. We sat at the bar which I believe is the best seat in the house to watch a great team carefully prepare your delicious meal. It is clear that every member of the team cares about delivering a memorable experience and it is obvious that they are enjoying doing that. Watching them support each other was great to see. It’s a small intimate restaurant that really makes you feel at home and the food is excellent. My only regret is that the night we went the couple that split the back and front of the duties were not there. The next night when we were eating nearby I stopped in to tell the sommelier who runs the front how much we enjoyed it and to wave at our server who was awesome . You will love this place!

We ended up here by accident. This place was phenomenal. Service was gold standard and the food was an incredible taste sensation!! We had a duck confit starter and an abalone starter with the most incredible parsley pesto. OMG who would have thought you could make such an amazing pesto from parsley. We had a gazpacho fish dish and and a fish of the day with an unbelievable crispy quinoa. If I did not taste it myself I would never have believed quinoa could tastes so good. We wrapped up with two cocktails - OMG, they nailed it and it was so good we plan on coming back for more !! ( a Carajillo and a Mezcalita) We are definitely coming back before we leave Santiago. This place is a must visit for food lovers who love excellent service and wine.

We are here for dinner. We started with the Pork Bao, they were heavenly. Soft and pillowy dough filled with tender pork, mustard seed and cucumber. I could have eaten 100 of them. For my main, I had Orzo with morels, bacon, and egg yoke. It was by far one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The staff were friendly and attentive. The facilities were clean and attractive. Definitely a must-go.

We enjoyed this small bistro , and sat at the bar - enjoyed watching and interacting with the chefs who clearly took great pride in their work. Lots of interesting dishes all enjoyed (steak tartare exceptional ) and loved trying to pick the difference between Chilean and Peruvian pisco sours …. A great and fun night out

This is a must do in Santiago. We were introduced to this restaurant by watching a Feed Phil episode on Netflix. We sat at the bar and watched the head chef Ayden, and his team create masterpieces. Very entertaining and delicious!
We were very impressed with how clean the kitchen is and how well Ayden and his team work together and how he treats his staff. He truly is a master chef!

The place is hard to find if you're not looking for it. From the outside nothing suggests how good and unique Ambrosia is.
Service is great and the quality of all dishes is outstanding. We've been 3 times in a month, because is so good 🫶🏻🤤

My wife had a main course which was fantastic. I ate from the wonderful list of the starters menu and treated it like a tapas. Every dish was presented beautifully and had wonderful depth of flavours, some of the very best dishes we experienced in Chile. The accompanying wines were great, the waiters were good fun and the chefs were engaging. The prices are ridiculously reasonable given the quality. Huge thanks to the lovely family from Boston who recommended this bistro.

After watching this restaurant's feature on Netflix's Somebody Feel Phil, we were beyond excited to go here for a gastronomic experience... and this place surpassed all of our expectations.
I highly recommend dining here and sitting at the bar where you get to see all of the kitchen's action. The staff is very friendly and make sure you are having a great meal. I have infinite love for the amazing food that the chef prepared for us! Everything we ate was delicious, rich and decadent. If I am ever fortunate to return to Santiago, I will dine here again!

Solo dining for lunch after a recommendation from a tour guide.
Staff were very welcoming and accommodating of my lack of Spanish skills! Menu only in Spanish which was fine (not aimed at tourists!)
Food was all delicious and staff were very helpful and accommodating.
I really loved that you could see the open kitchen and the chefs working away. Would love to return in the evening and get a feel of the atmosphere.
Defiantly not a cheap eat, but no complaints and would return
