Getting Started with Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market on Amazon Deliveries and Pickup
Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market offer attended or doorstep deliveries and/or Pickup in select cities. In select regions, you can add items to an upcoming Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market order if it hasn't already been prepared.
Attended Deliveries
Attended deliveries are available in all cities where Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market is available. Choose an available time slot when you'll be home to receive your order in person.
Note: We're happy to leave your order with a door attendant or security guard if necessary. If you'd like us to do so, be sure to leave instructions when completing your order on the Preview Order page, under Delivery Instructions. If your order contains perishable food items, be sure to alert the person caring for your delivery so they can take steps to protect those items.
Amazon Fresh delivery isn't available to dorms.
Doorstep Deliveries
Doorstep (unattended) deliveries are available in all cities where Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market is available. As long as your order doesn't include age-restricted items, choose an available time slot that works best for your schedule and we'll leave your items on your doorstep.
Doorstep deliveries aren't available for buildings with secure entries or limited access. If we're unable to access your doorstep, you can leave instructions when completing your order on the Preview Order page, under Delivery Instructions. Our packaging is designed to maintain the correct temperature of your products during transit, but we encourage you to retrieve your order as soon as possible.
Delivery Fees
Amazon Fresh Deliveries:
One-Hour Delivery: If you select a one-hour delivery option, a delivery fee will be charged based on the order's subtotal. All one-hour delivery orders from Amazon Fresh will also include a service fee to help cover operating costs, including equipment, technology, and other costs associated with your grocery delivery order, to continue to offer the same competitive everyday pricing in-store and online at Amazon Fresh. Additional rush fees will continue to apply to one-hour delivery orders. Total fees display before you place your order.
Two-Hour Delivery: If you select a two-hour delivery option, a delivery fee will be charged based on the order's subtotal. All two-hour delivery orders from Amazon Fresh will also include a service fee to help cover operating costs, including equipment, technology, and other costs associated with your grocery delivery order, to continue to offer the same competitive everyday pricing in-store and online at Amazon Fresh. Pickup
Amazon Fresh grocery pickup is free to customers in select cities.
Whole Foods Market grocery pickup is free to Prime members in select cities with orders over the local free pickup threshold. Additional fees apply to rush options.
Prime members in participating cities can choose a Pickup Location for their order, and then reserve an available pickup time slot - in as little as 30 minutes.
Tips
We provide the option to tip your delivery driver at checkout. If you elect to leave a tip, the entire tip goes to your delivery driver. You can edit your tip amount up to 24 hours after delivery. Information about your tip, such as the amount and who has issued it, isn't shared with the driver.
