I was really disappointed at first, especially with the stupid "Testing 123!" repeated during the intro to Stateseboro Blues. Even a novice recorder should know better! I'm at peace with it now- Duane sounds good, and an occasional solo will rise up from the murk. Side 2 is better and the real gem is the bonus cut of Stormy Monday on side 4. Maybe that show will come to vinyl. At least it came with nice poly sleeves - suitable for a better recording. My advice is put it on once in a while and don't listen too closely...

So disappointing. Yes, nice to hear the boys that night but quality varies so much. Side C with Hot 'Lanta and Whipping Post aren't worth the listen. But the last track/side here is a VERY tasty recording of Stormy Monday in Austin 9.28.71. I feel like I'm down in front again at the end of the evening. Worth the price.

This release has a terrible bootleg-quality. This album is only historically interesting.
