Ioan Gruffudd’s breakup bod is making quite the splash.
The Welsh actor, fresh off his split from wife Alice Evans, showed off his fit physique while hitting the beach in Santa Monica, Calif., over the weekend.
Giving “Baywatch” stars a run for their money, the shirtless 47-year-old was photographed swimming in the surf — all while showcasing his ripped abs.
The “Titanic” actor was not wearing his wedding ring in the new images.
Gruffudd was snapped alone on his beach day, perhaps something the actor needs following his scandalous split from Evans.
In January, the British American actress, 49, publicly accused Gruffudd of “leaving his family” after 13 years of marriage and two children.
“Me and our young daughters girls are very confused and sad,” Evans tweeted at the time. “We haven’t been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me.’”
A week later, the “102 Dalmatians” actress continued to share her heartbreak with the public.
She wrote on Instagram, “I never thought this would happen to us,” before adding, “The pain is excruciating but I am stronger than an ox, and though I weep all day when my kids aren’t looking, at night I add up figures and plan futures for us and you know what? I will do those two angels right if it’s all I ever do.!”
After Gruffudd filed for divorce in March, Evans once again took to social media to throw shade at her estranged husband, hinting that she learned of the filing on the internet.
“Oh. Ok. Thanks for letting me know. I guess?” she captioned a screenshot of a news story about the divorce.
He only commented in a joint statement with Evans in January reading, “As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
