Bishop Celebrates First Anniversary on St. Vincent de Paul Feast Day

The natural disasters occurring recently in our country, including the derecho, hurricanes and wildfires, have caught our attention. Add in COVID-19 and these times can seem almost apocalyptic. But when we have the lens of faith, we know death does not have the final word. Bishop Joensen also celebrates his first anniversary as Bishop of Des Moines on the Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul. In honor of the local SVDP Chapter, learn more about the bishop's bike ride fundraiser to help those in most in need in our community and how you can help.
