Judging by the look of the building and the description on the website I thought Beyond the Lens would be very entertaining. It wasn't. It was almost boring. The best part was the photo shoot areas that you can pose and have your pictures taken and uploaded to a QR card. I thought that was amazing... until the end when I was approached by staff telling me that I'd have to pay $37 per photo... did I not pay a ton for admission already?! My advice - save your money. You can google all of the exhibits shown in this museum for free.

We are very sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit. Because we strive to offer a great visit to all, we are constantly changing our exhibits and attractions. As for your pictures, I take it that you did not want the $2 upgrade that would have cut your picture prices in half AND given you free e-mailed downloads. We offer the VIP experience at such a low upgrade because we want you to have great memories to take home. I hope the next time you are in Pigeon Forge, you come back and see all the new and exciting things we will be adding. Please feel free to reach out to us to discuss your visit farther. Please call 865-366-1609 and ask for the operations manager. Thank you!

This was a spur of the moment visit after ziplining as it was raining. A bit pricy if you don't have a Groupon ticket. I had one due to a voucher had to use, tried to buy another but app locked up. Was $30 just for one ticket. First stop is a group photo and you get a card to scan at interactive exhibits. The arcade room was cool with giant pac man and space invaders machine. People were pleasant giving other parties a turn. Rest of exhibits not very exciting. Had a few amusement games and a giant Connect 4 game with basketballs that was cool. Finally end up out in gift shop where you can scan card and view your interactive photos and email any u want. But at same time have an employee shoving printed photos in your face with prices wanting to know if u wanted to buy them. Better off just taking your own pictures as you go along instead of dealing with photo employee at end. Was a bit crowded but not too bad, by time we left, line to get in was out the door and wrapped around side, don't waste your time or money if line that long. Check Groupon for any discounts if really want to check it out.

The giant Pac-Man is fun! And, guests do like our Techno-Sports exhibits! We are sorry that you did not have a 4 or 5 star experience with us but hope you will be back later this year when we open FlyRide, a thrilling, immersive adventure!

This place has the potential to be a must see attraction, but sadly it needs better management. The different rooms that you go in are relatively small when allowing unlimited people to go in at anytime. I'm not a fan of the mask and I think that some of the Covid rules are ridiculous, but this place was just crazy with how they did things. Most of the rooms that you walked through had several things to do in them. Instead of only allowing a certain amount of people at a time, you were packed in each room like sardines, and the lines for each attraction just intermingled, so much that you never knew which line you were in. They would allow this kind of crowding, but took the time to sanitize the virtual reality masks in between users. However, everything you do requires you to touch something that everyone else is constantly touching, but no wiping down these things. That didn't bother me at all, but the ridiculousness of it all made us just leave without doing much of it. A waste of money. It just needs better organization.

Thank you for visiting. Spring Break and Easter did bring large crowds to Pigeon Forge and us. We have implemented increase cleaning and sanitizing procedures and do care about the safety of our guests. We hope you will come back and see us in the future.

I would not recommend a visit to Pigeon Forge especially in July. It is definitely for a family vacation. I am a senior and I would never return. It is very crowded, extremely expensive and I felt like it was a complete rip off. I was there years ago and it was by far a much more enjoyable vacation. The show we saw were enjoyable but everywhere you went was s complete hassle. If you must go pick an off season time and definitely not in the summer.

This place was alot of fun. We went with our 7 and 9 year old and enjoyed everything there! Original price is a bit high but we searched the internet for promo coupon and got 40% off. So for around $60 for the 4 of us was a great price for 3 hours of fun!

Our family of 5, including 2 teenagers and 1 10 year old, visited Beyond the Lens in February. Aside from the price, the whole experience was great. I’d definitely recommend anyone, of any age to visit. It can take as long as you want it to. We spent around an hour there but if we had done each exhibit, it would’ve definitely taken double that or more. Lots of interesting exhibits, hands on things and virtual reality. This fits right in with the high prices of the area but can be expected due to the tourist towns.

We took advantage of the Groupon deal and felt the experience was worth that price. Not sure it's worth the full price. There were some cool games that we enjoyed playing and the Virtual Reality experiences were very cool. We didn't have time for everything but really enjoyed our time here. I feel like this is a 1 time experience but would consider coming back if they continue to add new experiences. We spent 2 hours here. On less crowded days that would have been plenty of time, but we really needed 3 to do everything due to the crowds. We had reservations so we had to go. I would recommend checking it out.

This was kinda different place, seemed to be kinda small and was able to get through quick and we still got many pics. the fly ride here was ok, seemed to be more hype than what it really was. If you are stuck needing something to do indoors would do this, but if you can do other things those may be better. Family of 4 was a little expensive for what it was.

It is so much fun. Very interactive. The have a scavenger Hunt you can do with your phones including free internet there. Lots of VR "Rides" to do. Games to play. Go at your own pace. The have photo stations throughout that you use a scan card to activate. At the end you have a chance to buy a picture package that the make for you or you can get some prints also. They also send a link to your email with your pictures.
