Al Green – Let's Stay Together

Beautiful warm sound, pressing is quiet and flat. Grab it if you see it.

Overall a pretty decent pressing. Very little surface noise and pops.

This pressing sounds incredibly good in my setup. The bass is very smooth and tight, the medium and treble are very EQed and very pleasant. The mastering seems perfect for a Soul music album. As it’s a reissue, the prices are very reasonable. It’s a definitive version in my collection. Strongly recommended.

Bought my copy new. Lots of surface scratches but plays pretty quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to pick this pressing up again.

A real peach of a pressing. Much better than the thin flat body less sound of the Fat Possum pressing. Nice jacket quality too

What’s a sandwich cover? I don’t see Al holding a sandwich.

What a recording. Genuinely awe-inspiring to hear Al Green and co like this, in a beautiful pressing that does justice to the band and Al's impeccable voice. My version doesn't have the red text depicted in the screenshots, but all other identifiers line up. It's also the thinnest record in my collection and very sensitive to warping (I had to have it flattened). Maybe mine's a promo version?

Side one was slightly noisy in places but not too distracting. Side two is flawless. Appearance wise it’s like a highlighter yellow, slightly greenish color. Looks nice and perfectly flat. Comes in a generic paper sleeve so I had to swap it for a better one.

Anybody know if this is an Amazon ROTM exclusive pressing?

FPR put a 50 anniversary sticker to this version and release it once. it is really a kind of flat sound. avoid it if you can. not worth it.
