Aishwarya and Abhishek recently posted a lovely family photo on Instagram. In the picture, Abhishek can be seen wearing a beige shirt and sporting bright lipstick. Meanwhile, Aishwarya is smiling while also wearing bright lipstick. Aaradhya, their daughter, snuggles up to her mom for the family photo and looks genuinely happy.

These stars shared pictures of themselves with a red heart emoji to show how much they loved each other. People commented below the post to wish the pair a happy anniversary.

When Abhishek dreamt of marrying Aishwarya

Abhishek and Aishwarya were good friends and worked together on movies like Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke in 2000 and Umrao Jaan in 2006. But the star told Oprah Winfrey that he would stand on the balcony of his hotel room in New York while filming a movie and wish he could marry Aishwarya. He asked her to marry him when they were back at the same hotel years later for the premiere of their 2007 movie Guru. He saw it as a sign from the world. They got married the same year and had Aaradhya the next year.

Their recent work

In R. Balki’s 2023 movie Ghoomer, he played a dishonored cricket player who became a teacher. Currently, he will soon be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming movie that will be available on Amazon Prime Video.

Aishwarya’s last appearance was in Ponniyin Selvan: I and II by Mani Ratnam. In the movie, she portrays Nandini, as a queen who desires power and is both beautiful and intelligent. Till now, there have been no updates about her new projects.
