Ahmad Givens Dead: 'Real Chance of Love' Star Was 33 Ahmad Givens Dead: ‘Real Chance of Love’ Star Was 33

Ahmad Givens, aka Real, who starred on VH1’s reality series “Real Chance of Love,” died on Saturday after a short battle with colon cancer. He was 33.

Givens starred on the dating show, a spinoff of the network’s “I Love New York,” with his brother Kamal Givens, aka Chance. The show premiered in late 2008 and returned for a second season, called “Real & Chance: The Legend Hunters.”

Kamal posted an Instagram photo of himself in tears along with the following message.

“(Bye) to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s (kingdom) forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!”

Givens underwent surgery when he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013, but didn’t begin chemotherapy treatments until this year, after the cancer returned.

The former reality star’s condition reportedly worsened when he took a fall in January. Givens was having trouble with vision and speech Friday night and passed away hours later, TMZ reports.
