- jehenson81Washington DC, DC22,400 contributionsI had quite the adventure to get to the Mash site inside Malibu Creak State Park. The rangers gave me good directions and it was smooth sailing to get there, until I reached the creek. During the winter because of the rain, they remove the bridge across the creek. There are some logs there that you can use to climb across. I held on to one and walked on the other (on the way back someone had shifted one of the logs, destabilizing it, but I put it back in the right place when I got across). At that point the path became more of a rough term. The only pointer I can give you is to keep the creek on your right and to follow in the footsteps of the people who have gone before you. I was there between rain storms, so the path was muddy, but I was able to stay relatively mud free. You might want to bring a walking stick or an extra pair of shoes to make it through. The valley is very recognizable to fans of the show. There is a reproduction of an ambulance as you enter the site, which was donated after the 2018 Woolsey Fire. The only original pieces from the show are the burned up Jeep and ambulance that is near the picnic benches and the path up to the helipad. The helipad is really overgrown, so I couldn’t find the GOODBYE in rocks that were left there. It took me about two hours to get there and back, though the return trip was much quicker. I think that’s because I knew where to go.Written January 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- slee328Agoura Hills, CA16 contributionsIt is a good neighborhood park for good family activities like ball games, walking , take the dog. It has restrooms and BBQ grill. A covered pavilion and plenty of recreation facilities for little ones to slide, swing, or spin. It is in a very safe neighborhood.Written June 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Duncan WLondon, UK14 contributionsMy daughter was really keen to go pony-trekking whilst in California and I was so pleased that we did. Although neither of us had much or any riding experience to speak of, we had an amazing time. The trek itself was up some fairly steep trails, leading up and around Zuma Canyon; from which we had amazing views of Malibu and the Ocean. Both my daughter and I were a little nervous at times, but our instructor/guide, Chris looked after us really well and made the whole experience very enjoyable.Written April 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mcal3Klos angeles10,118 contributionsThe old man who works in the club house for the driving range refuses to follow city and county guidelines by wearing a mask. He openly insults those who do, calling them Lefties and saying they are frightened conspiracy freaks. He needs to mask up and protect himself and his customers and keep his politics to himself. Avoid!Written July 12, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
