TSA Body Spray Rules
The Transportation Security Administration are the folks that run the airport security checkpoint.
They don’t mention body spray on their website but they do mention aerosol deodorant and that’s pretty much the same thing.
You can bring body spray in checked bags, each container must be 18 oz maximum. You can only have 70 oz of toiletry aerosols in checked baggage in total.
You can bring body spray on a plane in carry-on luggage though it is considered a liquid. Body spray must be packed in your one quart-size zip-top bag and be in containers less than 3.4 ounces or 100 ml.

The Verdict
Body spray is considered to be a liquid by the TSA.
This means you must only pack body sprays that are less than 3.4 oz in carry-on bags and they must be packed in your plastic quart bag.
In checked baggage you can bring larger cans up to 18 oz.
