Here Are The 2017 Oscar Winners For Best Original Song And Best Original Score

‘La La Land’ sweeps both categories.

The 2017 Oscars are finally here and La La Land won Best Original Score. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s song “City Of Stars,” from the movie’s soundtrack, nabbed Best Original Song, as well.

Composers Justin Hurwitz, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul led the Best Original Song category with two nominations for “City of Stars” and “Audition (The Fools Who Dream).”

La La Land—a modern movie-musical set in L.A.—ties Titanic and All About Eve’s record for the most Oscar nominations in history, with 14 total nods across all categories.

Hurwitz discussed La La Land’s music in an interview with Genius, explaining that Stone and Gosling sang everything live on set.
