I am not receiving the password reset email in hotmail mailbox?

I have reset my password on Gumtree but have not received the reset email. Also I was logged in into another app and sent the verification code and that has not reached my inbox in hotmail. I have checked common things like Junk folders, rules and typo of an email address and everything see ms to be configured ok but the problem persists and it is very annoying.

Do you want to receive a verification code from Gumtree? This seems to be a three-way email sender, will you be able to successfully receive their emails when you sign up?

 

I know it's a nuisance to not receive a verification code, so let's confirm some events to better help you.

 

Please log in to your Hotmail account in https://outlook.live.com to see if you can receive a verification code, because the web version is the fastest place to receive emails, and other apps sync emails here. If you don't receive it, will you receive another email from your Hotmail, such as your Microsoft account login code?

 

There are times when Hotmail does experience network fluctuations that prevent you from receiving emails. Check the link below to check the status of our network.

Wait a while for the verification code to arrive.

 

The last possibility is that the verification code email is not successfully sent, sometimes, some accounts that have not been verified for a long time will not be able to receive the verification code normally, have you contacted Gumtree support to confirm that the verification code is sent normally?
