Dominic Schmidt (born: March 29, 1997)[1] is an American YouTuber. Schmidt started his online career making videos in 2011.
He rose to fame in 2016 and 2021 when he was featured on famous YouTube star channels such as Scrubby, Bumpkin, LeafyIsHere, DJ Cook, CoryxKenshin, Veshremy, AugustTheDuck[2], BENOFTHEWEEK, as well as Instagram meme pages.
Biography[]
Ever since Dominic was a kid he's always dreamed of being an actor and movie star and at a young age, he always loved being in the camera spotlight. Dominic Schmidt was always in front of the camera, as his dad had a video camera and would always film him growing up. Dominic fell in love with the spotlight, and in 2004 made a video of himself picking his nose at Chuck E. Cheeses.
Schmidt's first channel was created in the year of 2010. He started posting his first ever content in 2011. Ever since Elementary school, Schmidt was the class clown who would do anything for attention, even if it meant getting hated on/bullied. Dominic Schmidt would stick pencils up his nose in class and pretty much do anything for attention.
He is known for doing the impossible for gaining that next level of attention. He has done multiple disturbing and unspeakable acts, such as giving himself wedgies and calling himself a nerd, spanking himself, drinking toilet water, rubbing dog poop on his face, and even posting content where he has very dirty acts with his stuffed animal bear and makes videos where he sucks his thumb, acting like a 3-year-old. Schmidt has gained thousands, upon thousands of followers - racking in millions and millions of views - creating backlash and having popular names such as Belle delphine, Ricky Berwick, Memeulous, Emma Langevin, Keemstar, and even Adult Swim blocking him on social media multiple times.
Nowadays, Dominic Schmidt claims that he's married his mother. He says "She's so sexy" and how much he wants to have sex with her. He's currently having a one-way argument with "professional cyberbully" Cyrus.
On October 9th 2021, Dominic made videos on DJ Cook, wanting him to go to Applebee's, to rate his "Tutu" and knowing the color his house is and where he lives. DJ Cook, later "called the cops" on him and he made a response. In the video, he does not refer to DJ Cook by name but rather just mentioning him by saying "A certain Youtuber".
In 2022, Popular youtuber Veshremy started doing videos reacting to Dominic Schmidt two of the videos getting over 3 million views within a week. Popular youtuber JoeyBtoonz has also recently done a video reacting to Dominic Schmidt even having famous actress Juliette Lewis notice him commenting on the video.
Dominic had also started to simp on other youtubers like Spoctor, Pegasus and Cecil Mcfly to name a few, he also simped on Dumpy which he decided to make a video called "THE SADDEST MAN ON YOUTUBE" which also caused Dominic to make a video called "I put a curse on you Dumpy" which he says "I put a curse on Dumpy" Multiple times and also said "I Drink his blood" which sounds downright creepy.
On the 13th of May 2023, DJ Cook made another video including Dominic Schmidt, where he ranks YouTubers. DJ ranked him as the worst YouTuber in that video.[3]
Veshremy has also said that his videos on Dominic were completely staged, and Dominic was just a paid actor, as most YouTubers that have made videos on him have said. DJ Cook, however, lied and said it wasn't fake, as in his video on DJLovesTurbo Exposer 📷, titled "This kid FOUND MY ADDRESS..", when DJLovesTurbo Exposer (now EXPWooof) said that DJ's video was fake, and showed a video from DJ on Twitter where Dominic asked DJ to make a video on him, DJ claimed Dominic DM'd him saying "Hey can you make a video on me, I'll pay you" and DJ apparently responded "No, I don't do fake videos, that's weird, and I just never texted him again. And then a couple months later, he started to do all that weird stuff"
In July 2023 Veshremy would do a 4th video on Dominic Schmidt getting over 10 million views within a month
August 2023 The singer Boy George retweeted a video of Dominic acting like a baby also around this time Dominic Schmidt started going super viral on tiktok having many big creators duet his videos
In September 2023 Benoftheweek would prank call Dominic Schmidt tricking him into thinking he was going to do a collaboration but instead signed him up for online therapy
