We're not sure if sweating for the TV wedding is a thing, but we do know one thing—almost a month after Blue Bloods actress Vanessa Ray's lightning-fast on-screen ceremony to Jamie Reagan (played by Will Estes) aired at the end of the season 9 finale, the star looked absolutely killer in a new swimsuit vacation selfie.
Ironically trading her white on-screen gown for a black bandeau bathing suit top and sleek matching shades, the 37-year-old star took to Instagram to share a new sunbathing snap while lying on a pink lounge chair. Clearly on vacation, Vanessa tagged SLS Baha Mar, a resort in the Bahamas, as the dreamy overseas location. At first glance, we'd argue that she looks every bit the effortless social media mogul, but Vanessa actually poked fun at her rather...unnatural pose in the caption.
"May this photo stress you out as much as it does me," she wrote before addressing her kooky limb placement. "Oh the arms? Put those anywhere. #modelfail."
Fans hardly noticed, though, with comments ranging from, "This cured my jet lag," to, "You could wear a garbage bag and and still look like that hottest thing alive." We concur to all of the above.
Vanessa's real-life husband (sorry, Jamie), Landon Beard, also posted an adorable seaside shot of the couple from the same trip the following day, with both dressed in their vacation best. "My Bahama Mama," he captioned the scenic image, which proves that these jet-setting lovebirds sure do clean up nice.
While Blue Bloods fans had mixed reactions to Jamko's ceremony screen time (or lack thereof), we can all come together on one thing: Eddie can rock the heck out of a black bikini. There's no word on the exact swimwear line Vanessa's sporting, but you can still snag her look for less...all while also trying to perfect your own poolside selfie positioning.
