Alison Herman The Ringer Abbott Elementary is neither saccharine nor cynical in its treatment of systemic issues, an impressive balancing act that’s actually earned the acclaim it deserves. Jul 9, 2022 Full Review Dan Einav Financial Times For all the sharp, referential dialogue, cut-scenes and unexpected, throwaway gags, Abbott Elementary disarmingly succeeds in reminding us of the value of dedicated teachers who care for their students even when their own employers don’t care for them. Rated: 4/5 Jun 20, 2022 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) This is one of the best surprises of the television year so far. And those 22-minute episodes are an absolute balm in the current age of demanding drama. That’s a lesson we can all learn. Audience Member Love it absolutely, it's fresh, brilliantly acted, the writing and cast are amazing, including the kids! The Office mockumentary formula is side-splittingly effective, and the chemistry between characters feels almost tangibly real. Great show! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Chase B I love this show and although I took awhile to actually watch it, it is in fact quite hilarious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Esteban C an incredible ensemble cast, comedy to its finest and a very unusual yet relatable setting give this series all the praise. sitcoms are back and this show proves how a good one gets done. the whole first season bring the audience close with the characters, as they dive into their own adventures and explore the intricate world of an elementary school! a diamond in the rough that i can’t wait to see it fully polished!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/05/24 Full Review isa d As someone in the educational system, I have to believe this is a real thing with real teachers. Never thought I'd watch a sitcom that'd be so faithful to the reality of the behind the scenes in a school. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Audrey E Truly going to be one of the sitcoms defining the 2020s! Quinta Brunson's comedic writing is still iconic and grounded, and the cast is always stellar. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review IKHSAN R A strong start. However, the dunking on Mr. C is growing stale pretty fast. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
