- I purchased a copy of this a couple of weeks ago, new and sealed. The album has Side 2 labels on both sides, but the pressings are Side 1 and Side 2. Wondering if anyone else had this factory error? Thank you, Jay
- Edited one year agoTodd's masterpiece. Really happy with this press. It sounds clear and well defined (well, as much as this psych odyssey can). It may be lower in volume than the Friday Music version, but I prefer not having to flip it over 3 times. Also, no arbitrary new interpretation of where to divide the songs for 2 LPs. The inserts are nice, but the sleeve feels flimsy. Anybody with an OG care to comment on that?
- Until someone does a 2 LP version, this is the pressing to own. Never going to be an audiophile masterpiece soundwise, but this is the best it has sounded so far. Undervalued from that perspective.
- Sounds like an improvement over my Original pressing. Chris Bellman cuts of Todd Rundgren albums are pretty much can't miss so far.
- I think every Todd Rundgren pressing I’ve ever had sounds bright and overly aggressive. I guess that was his preference. This pressing is enjoyable but also a bit hot in places.
- Sounds great, looks amazing held up under light. Appreciate the original die cut packaging and inserts.
- I hesitated because it's a single LP but the packaging looked spot on so I bought it. Glad I did. Seeing Chris Bellman's initials in the dead wax was a relief. Sounds great.
- Nice to get this classic LP in the original die-cut gatefold w/ Patti Smith poem, postcard and die cut lyric insert sleeve. The colored swirl is nice and it sounds great to me. Glad I picked it up.
