There are very few smaller restaurants that can maintain the quality of their food over time. Pita King is amazingly good and amazingly consistent! Two years after my initial post it is still our favorite place for lunch as an office and for my wife...and I as a couple. My standard order is tasty, fresh and never gets old. I order the full Greek salad with chicken. I love most of the items on the menu but this is amazing and it is sufficiently Keto for me! Love this place. Clean, friendly service, fast and always delicious!More

My wife and I stumbled on this place by accident and now have been back twice. We're boring in ordering the same things (spicy chicken and chicken shawarma pitas), but they are so delicious we can't resist. The service is family and very friendly. The...chicken is juicy and fresh tasting. The pitas are grilled to perfection. Every pita comes small or large. The large are gut-busting. We can't wait to go back!More

My office staff suggested that we order from here this past week for a meeting. The food was so good that my wife and I came back here for lunch today. The restaurant is located in Lamppost plaza (Trader Joe’s) on Stadium. Parking is always...tight in the plaza but this restaurant is worth the parking hassle. Clean and cared for facility, seating is basic and really good for couples or at most a four person group. Service is very good, friendly and hospitable. Speed of service excellent. The food is very reasonable in price, very fresh and delicious. Sauces in the sandwich are good in flavor and not overwhelming. The Chicken Shawarma and Kareemo is delicious. My wife enjoyed Moe’s Pita. Fresh, Flavorful and Filling! The bathroom was clean and well attend to. The TV was a little loud. Over all it was a great place to catch lunch! I have a new favorite in Ann Arbor for Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food!!!More

Located in a small outdoor shopping mall anchored by Ann Arbor's only Trader Joe's, Pita King could easily go unnoticed (indeed, I think it was there for six months before I ever stopped in based on a last second decision to NOT get something from...the frozen section at TJ's to microwave for lunch), but once you find it and try it, you will be back. Their Kareemo is by far the best falafel with eggplant (and feta and whipped garlic, etc.) pita sandwich in the county, and the lentil soup is consistently good (not so for every other falafel joint out there). The hummus is very good (sadly, they do not offer baba of any sort--the menu is not extensive), as is the tabouleh. I like the spinach pies a good deal, too, but am not sure if they are made in house or not; I guess it does not much matter, as this is the only place I know to get them (not quite as good as those at Exotic Bakery but far less expensive at Pita King, as is everything else). A larger menu might be nice, but only two people work here (at least I have only seen two ever in about 2.5 years), and frankly too much would probably degrade quality overall. I can live with a narrow focus on a few selections done very well.More

Fresh and good middle eastern food. I usually get the chicken shawarma pita. Always fresh ingredients, always warm. I've never had a bad meal there and I eat there at least once a week. The couple that own it are very pleasant and hardworking. Open...10-6 pm everyday but Sundays.More

What can I possibly say that hadn't been said already? How about that they prepare the food from scratch? Or that everything on the menu is simply outstanding? No matter what I've ordered it's been great food at good prices and usually pretty fast. Honest...owners that take their time to get to know their "regular" recurring customers.More

The pita sandwiches here are excellent and very cheap- only 5.50-6.50 each. The chicken and lamb gyro is a very big sandwich and very good. The Greek sandwich is also excellent- chicken, peppers, pickles, feta cheese, tomato, and garlic sauce. Great sandwiches at good prices.
