I usually get off the subway from Bloor and walk all the way down to Dundas. There were a lot of shops, restaurants and eateries on Yonge. Lots to see and feel the downtown ambiance of Toronto.

Younge Street seems to be where most of the action is. Here you’ll find everything from shopping and restaurants, to street performers and other forms of entertainment. Their are many places that offer free WiFi if needed. Because of everything this street/area has to offer, it could easily be considered a tourist trap. That being said, it doesn’t deter from venturing around this area every time I visit Toronto. Theirs something for everyone here. …

This is supposed to be one of the main streets in Toronto and maybe they should start treating it like that. It was dirty, which might be from the lack of garbage and recycling containers. Worse of all, pedestrians don’t appear to have the right of way, in other words, when the light changes to walk, run fast to cross the street. During rush hour it was worse. The other annoying thing was the number of people texting and walking and not paying attention. This is a problem in a lot of places, but if you want to act like a world class city, you have a campaign warning people, just like they did in London, England.…

Just another extremely busy street for both pedestrians and automobiles. There is no reason to travel on it.
