Four Pillars Gin launched in 2013 and has since gone on to win an array of awards at home and around the globe. Our home in Healesville is where we make and experiment with gin, and where you have the option of trying and learning about gin in several different formats. Come and do a neat gin tasting or sip on a G&T paddle at your table, while taking in our German sister-stills Wilma, Jude, Beth and Coral. You’ll find any of our current and limited release bottles, you can experience one of our various masterclasses or just come and soak in our hospitality space while enjoying one of the gin cocktails from our frequently changing menu. Yileena Park is a family owned Cellar Door, Winery and Vineyard located in the beautiful Yarra Valley just one hour drive north east of Melbourne. The vinyard was established in 1998 and comprises 5 acres of Pinot Noir, 5 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 2.5 acres of Merlot. It is situated on a north facing slope at the base of the Christmas Hills which keep it cool and protected. And the grey loam soil surfaced over a rock studded clay base make it ideal for growing premium wine grapes. The vineyard is pruned to produce between 1-2 tones of fruit per acre which allows the vines the opportunity to completely ripen the fruit. Our watering system is an American Sub-surface drip irrigation type, which delivers the water and organic liquid fertilizer directly to the vine’s roots. It allows for excellent control over our watering which we judiciously monitor. The unique sandstone cellar door at Yileena Park was opened in 2006. It is anchored back into a steep hill to ensure cool cellaring of our premium wines as the ground floor is virtually buried underground. Climb the superbly timber panelled stair case to the warmly inviting tasting room which is swathed in Tasmanian Myrtle and features and open fire place, an ornate Victorian mantle and a beautifully detailed granite bar. French doors open onto an expansive deck affording views over the vineyard and the beautiful Yarra Valley. The deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine with a pre-ordered cheese platter. When you visit Cellar Door you must also sample our unique smoked delicacies. These are infused with the smoke from old wine barrels and the combination of wine and oak flavours imparts an amazing flavour that needs to be tasted to be believed. Our smoked products are only available at Cellar Door and include smoked salt, olives, nuts, mustard, olive oil, red wine vinegar and cheeses. With such close proximity to Melbourne this stunning Celar Door, Winery and Vineyard is so accessible. We look forward to seeing you when you are next in the Yarra Valley.

The Blue Lotus Water Garden is one of Australia's premier seasonal gardens. Open from 26 December - Mid April each year. Visitors will get to experience one of the world’s most magnificent displays of spectacular lotus flowers and many other exotic blooms. Located in the beautiful Upper Yarra Valley. The tropical-themed water gardens span over 50,000 square metres (14 acres) with dozens of ponds and two large lakes, amazing fountains, waterfalls and wonderful walks. The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail is an iconic 39 km recreation trail for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The trail follows the path of the historical railway line through the stunning Yarra Valley commencing at the rear of the Lilydale Railway Station and finishing in the Warburton township.Follow the 'Warburton Trail' through vineyards, beautiful mountain scenery, farmlands and forests. Cross the many restored bridges. Meander past remnants of the former station platforms and stop in at the original 1882 railway station, also known as the Upper Yarra Museum.The Rail Trail's gentle gradients make it ideal for all levels of fitness including families. Access to the trail is free for the public, however permits may be required for events.

    A fun getaway outside of Melbourne
    We visited the animal sanctuary as part of our day excursion to the Yarra Valley. The sanctuary is a good size and splits into 3 main areas which you can explore. There is plentiful to see and all the animals are native to Australia. We particularly liked the animal hospital where you can watch the vets perform procedures on their rescue animals. One thing to keep in mind is that there is not much cover between the trails, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting on a rainy day. There is also not too many food options so maybe consider bringing your own meal and snacks particularly if you’re in a big group as the food is a bit pricey.

    Boozy fun filled afternoon with the best hospitality!
    An amazing afternoon!! The distillery is a fantastic space and the staff and so friendly, genuine, knowledgeable and fun!! O'Shea and Dave were the best 👌 The cocktails were the best we have ever had and the food was spot on! We will definitely be back 👏

    Lovely setting to enjoy some bubbly
    We had a wonderful tasting inside before taking some bottles outside to enjoy while overlooking the vineyards. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.
    The staff were welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed the wine and snacks we ordered. I would recommend Chandon to anyone looking for a nice experience at a winery in Yarra Valley.

    A breathtaking place! A must do!
    A MUST! Dosnt look much from the carpark but then you step into a tranquil, peaceful and breathtaking place! Like a setting from a movie! A river runs through and the scenery around is beautiful

    Rainforest
    Visited with my wife, daughter and my daughters partner. Wow what an experience, wandering through the boardwalk at tree level is truly amazing. Some huge trees and beautiful scenery. Well worth a visit.

    Amazing boutique experience
    Amazing experience and the cheese plate with the wine tasting is a definite must do! The hosts were welcoming and very much enjoyed our time there!

    Wonderful Walk
    Beautiful park with great activities for young & old.
    Playground, coffee truck, bbq, seating, lawns and my choice ..
    terrific meandering circuit walk around the Lake. Great spot to relax.

    Lovely food, but somewhat noisy
    We were brought here by a friend wanting to show us the best of Australia. The food was delicious and the service was good. It was a bit pricy, but well worth the money.

    Spectacular Place
    My wife and I visited this place a few days ago, as part of our holiday in Mount Dandenong where we stayed for two nights in a holiday cottage.

    This was our second visit, as we were here two years ago. We enjoyed our previous visit so much that we wanted to visit again.

    The collection of plants and the design of the Gardens are magnificent. We were here at 10 am on a Wednesday morning when it was not crowded, which made it more pleasant for walking across the whole place.

    Beautiful stroll and amazing coffee/cake
    Called in to have a coffee at the Nursery. We had such a wonderful coffee and cake and upon talking to the lovely Michelle decided to walk through the gardens. Michelle was so helpful giving map and making note of where seats were for my elderly mother. Gardens were beautiful and so much work involved. Quite a few noticeably burnt from the hot spell Melbourne has recently endured but nevertheless gardens amazing.

    Nice, easy flat walk
    I did the trail from Warburton to Milgrove and slightly beyond. Very easy flat trail. Very pleasant for an easy walk especially when the weather is nice. Some lovely trees along the way. Past Milgrove, it was more open areas, and less shady.
