We enjoyed many of his roles in movies and TV's "Homicide: Life on the Street." We will miss Yaphet Kotto's presence and his many contributions in Hollywood movies. May the love and the special memory you shared with your father and grandfather show how your lives was touched by him. Alien was one of my favorite movies of all time. I can't imagine that movie without him. He also played in the first James Bond movie that featured Roger Moore. He was a great actor and left behind an equally notable legacy.

Great actor! My husband and I were huge fans of Homicide, Life on the Street. Such a loss to the acting world. Our deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

My favorite movie that Yaphet was in was Brubaker with Robert Redford, he was great in it. He will be very much missed. Heaven has gained another angel.
