Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 24, 2022 Full Review Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) Fizzy, colourful and intricately plotted, this 2012 pop meta-fiction from The Simpsons' Rich Moore does for vintage arcade games what Who Framed Roger Rabbit did for the Golden Age of Animation. Leaburn O A really good Disney film with a good plot for once. Enjoyed it the whole way through. Watched on DVD. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Blu B If were not just speaking strictly about live action, this is easily the best video game film ever made. Filled with heart, a in depth understanding of the world of video games, unique and loveable characters, and a unique quirky adventure, this is something everyone easily should try once. as much as this is Ralph's story once he teams up with the his sidekick things take a big jump and never let up. The music is really good but I do wish it could've been a bit more catchy and memorable as everything else is. What also is amazing is how despite having so many different worlds and color textures these worlds never feel like they are a mismatch or belong in different films. The animation design is so subtle but masterfully done to make it all work together as well the editing. This is masterfully paced although personally I think it may go a little too fast at times because there is so many ideas and cool things but it works beautifully. There is tons of easter eggs, homages, references, and product placements but it never feels obnoxious or forgets to tell a interesting story or stay focused on its characters at it's expense. You don't have to have played the games to understand like with other game flicks. It's THAT good. On a side note Ralph is more than just a big teddy bear and was a big suprise for me. Everyone should give this a try once. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/24 Full Review Benjamin M I found this a pretty ok movie. I remember since I'd only find movies by looking through a bunch of movies on cd or blu-ray, I found wreck-it ralph, and it was the first movie I ever watched. I also thought it was funny, but I kind of found it boring after watching a lot of times. Besides that, decent movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Ionela C I loved everything about it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review KerryWhite's S As a Child: 7/10. 70/100. | Adult/Now: 7/10. 79/100 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Audience Member Wreck-It Ralph Is So Much More The Best Movie Than Ever Seen In My Entire Life Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
