Music lovers
Did any piece of music hit you exceptionally hard when coming out?
For context, I'm 45 mtf and just figured this out like 3 weeks ago. Feels like a lifetime though. I know it's a few years old, but I just heard The Village from Wrabel for the first time and I was in a ball crying for days.
I also want to mention that I'm an old school metal head. Grew up on Metallica, Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, and then in my party years went harder with Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God and the like. Also I'm into 90s Era skate punk. Offspring, green day, Face to Face,NOFX.So this style of music was always kind of like, I'm not supposed to like that.
Then, the other day, I was having a bad day. I hear this Lady Gaga song, Hold My Hand; while in a convenient store bathroom. Made think of my wife, who is very supportive, and I just lost it. Thank goodness I was the only one in there. Lol
Another song I just heard, is a new one from Makewar-Tell Me. Not sure what he was thinking when he wrote the lyrics, but whew, those words just hit me different then they would have before. And just the way he screams it. Powerful
I will walk the line I will make it just in time I don't want to play any more games You've bested me in the worst way
Tell me where you want me Tell me how I feel Tell me what to do next You can count on me Just tell me im fine And everything will be alright
Life could've split us apart But you kept holding on so tight I didn't even notice you for years Along for the ride you've always been
Tell me do I want this? Tell me if I feel Tell me, tell me, tell me Can I count on you? And everything will be alright And these chemicals are helping us I understand now, please stay
