When Dumas and her family came to the United Stats, the Americans were extremely welcoming and kind. They family returned to Iran, but later returned to America, after the Iranian Revolution. After the Iranain Revolution, Americans developed a very negative attitudes to the people from Iran, even though some haven't done anything. They were very rude to them and would discriminate them. To this day, many people still despise ten Iranians.
