- William KimLondon, Canada340 contributionsThere’s a reason this attraction is listed as #1 in Windsor on TripAdvisor. I think this is the best place to be at in Windsor. It’s FREE (who doesn’t love free stuff?), the views of the Detroit skyline are gorgeous, and the sight of water flowing is very relaxing to the mind.
I came here with a group of friends and we all had a blast. There’s so much to see along the riverfront, from the Detroit skyline to the Ambassador Bridge to Caesars to the sculpture garden. I could go on and on about all the stuff you can find here, and for families with kids, there are several playgrounds available.
The riverwalk is also very clean. I did not see much trash lying around which is always a welcome sight. It also feels safe too. I don’t know what it is like late at night but I don’t suspect it’s anything terrible (that being said though, don’t be dumb, use caution like you would anywhere at night).
Since I’m not from Windsor, I am not sure when I will be back - but I will definitely come back to this riverwalk area as it is gorgeous!Written May 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff was exceptional, and John gave an amazing tour that taught me so many different things! The ladies up front were very friendly as well and helped me pick out souvenirs for family!!! The planes are all related to the facility in some way and there is a ton of Canadian history to be found here. They also offer flights though the weather was bad the day I came. I can’t recommend this place enough and I’ll definitely be back in the future!Written December 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James AWindsor, Canada19,719 contributionsI went here to see Leno who did a show at Caesars before Christmas and it was great. He was amazing. Very funny show. The venue is ok, but I worked out well. I don’t gamble so I just had a milkshake at the Johnny Rockets. That was pretty good. Overall it was a fun time and I will say that staff and security on site were friendly and helpful. It was a nice experience.Written April 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James AWindsor, Canada19,719 contributionsThis is a nice fenced in park with an old manor house at the center of it. They just added a new playground for small children which is a nice touch and maybe families go here and people walking their dogs. Also as an added bonus this would be a safe have during the zombie apocalypse (it’s coming) so there you go. Great at all levels and uses. Enjoy!Written October 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Explorer_IMCambridge, Canada562 contributionsWe visited in the night and enoyed the night time views. Easy to park and plenty to enjoy. The night time views are just breath taking. The place has lots of seating. Next time plan is to go during the day.Written October 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MitavaToronto, Canada196 contributionsVisited adventure bay during march break with family.
The place gets busy really fast, you can buy tickets in advance but it doesn’t guarantee your entry, it’s best to arrive at opening time.
Lots of lockers in change rooms and by the pool. Bring your own lock. Few spots to sit down, and they get taken really quickly.
Overall pretty good park and the price is reasonableWritten March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Much of the historic olde town of Walkerville is still there though buildings have been renovated for new uses but the history and charm are still to be found here. One of the best attractions the city has to offer.Written August 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anderson KWindsor, Canada40 contributionsIn my opinion, Jackson Park is better during the holidays. This is because they put up this once a year event called bright lights. They hand decor everywhere. On the ground and in the trees. During the summer it's fun too. Great for both adults and kids. There are 2 parts to Jackson Park. Left and right. This is divided by an overpass. Don't worry, you can go under it. Once part is for walking and the other is for the play place and splash pad.Written February 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Arthur MHamilton, Canada1,418 contributionsShort walk to the fountain from the parking lot, parking lot gets full on weekends, so be prepared to park at the overflow lot two blocks south.
While physically separated from the riverfront, it is still worth visiting. The fountain provides amazing waterworks as well.Written August 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My family are all beer drinkers and they loved the beer..Written August 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anderson KWindsor, Canada40 contributionsOjibway is a must go to while visiting Windsor. There are lots of deer and a variety of species of birds that live in this park. Many paths to walk/ride bikes on. Perfect for families!Written February 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrightasLemons- H1 contributionI loved how there is an information centre downtown, but it needs exterior renovation its not attractive outside as it is inside. We want it how it used to be with the waterfall coin toss, and nice exterior maybe also nice lighting and some rotating digital screen. But overall good customer service. Just renovation required.Written May 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
