Wilmer-Hutchins High School Reviews
Rating 3.98 out of 5 45 reviews
While in Wilmer Hutchins High School, I've felt accepted and comfortable most of the time. The teachers are very skilled and good at giving lessons, they also have lots of patience and truly want the best for their students. Hutchins has lots of people you can talk to that will help you with your college path or life after high school. I think Hutchins does their best to discipline the students, but the students don't seem to cooperate with it which causes conflicts at times. Yet, it isn't the school's fault, but it does leave a bad reputation on it. Overall, I'm glad to attend Wilmer Hutchins since academics is my top priority and they do an amazing job at teaching.
My experience the past three years have been intense. Considering each year is different rules due to principals not staying more than one school year.
My experience at Wilmer Hutchins High School certainly taught me quite a lot for my future. Being at the school taught me how to interact, befriend, and make memories with people, which I would say was the best part for me. I also gained some college and adulthood advice from my teachers and coordinators. There were some flaws during high school, however. Most of the students were quite rowdy and disruptive, the school itself was not exactly sanitary, and student events were always disorganized. Every day, I would wish for a better facility and more well-behaved colleagues. Those flaws were undoubtedly the low points of attending Wilmer-Hutchins. While my overall experience was not perfect, I will not take the time I have spent at my high school for granted, and I will definitely use all that I have learned going forward into the next step in my life.
