Rant
I moved back to NoVa after eight years out of the country and the water here is making my skin peel and my hair has been so dry and keeps falling out. Instantly after taking a shower I itch all over from the chlorine.
My parents had the water tank checked and we have a lot of chlorine which apparently is really typical for the area, but the estimate to dechlorinate was over $8000!
I’ve been using filters since then, but six months ones only last a month from how hard the water is.
Anyone have any recs on what to do? I’m feeling quite deflated.
