Overall, my experience at Taft has been a growing one. I had a good experience with teachers and coursework and academics has never been an issue at this school in my opinion. The only element in which I believe could be improved would be the spirit and connection between students and the diversity of student groups on campus. I think that it’s much harder to connect students when they are so divided amongst groups of their own. However, overall, Taft has provided great opportunities for me to grow and understand who I was in and out of the classroom.
Im a Junior at Taft and its an okay experience ive been kinda just flaoting around because most teachers dont care what you do as long as you are able to sustain a good/above average grade and participate to some extent the Honors Teachers are great AP has some struggles to it with its History. Some teachers arent the greatest they sometimes get off topic to much but cant complain for a regular or honors class but an AP class should kinda stick to an agenda. Overal its a good school the food is mediocre and unappetizing. Other than there has been a lot of construction around the main parts of the school so most is sectioned off
Taft Charter High is a decent school that needs to preform better in the safety of their students. The academics are more difficult than needed compared to other schools.
