The video features a costume aesthetic that is reminiscent of Romy and Michelle and Thelma & Louise, meets Legally Blonde.

The three-minute film opens with them fending off a thirsty suitor as they exchange glances after receiving over-sexualized attention from an unwanted suitor.

After they hit back at him, the video follows the twosome on their adventures across town as they prove with their lyrics that they always have each others backs.

The outfit changes in the video are frequent and show off the versatility of their styles in the semi-matching costumes.

It plays out like a montage of their friendship as they are seen hitting up strip clubs, having girl time painting each others nails and drinking mimosas by the pool.

Trusting in the other the video leads up to an epic cliff diving scene that cheekily alludes to it being their 'first time,' as they are seen unzipping matching velour dresses in magenta and blue before plummeting over the ocean.

To make matters worse, the song was prematurely released by Warner Records in December on streaming services.

'I am extremely disappointed in my label WBR for prematurely releasing a single I was so excited about. I feel disrespected. I'm hands on with ALL of my creative & had such a dope rollout for 'best friends',' she tweeted

'We put so much work into the visual & we shot for days for this super cinematic girl anthem. And for this to happen? wow....'
