Vishwak Sen's Gangs of Godavari to have a sequel; here's what we know

Gangs of Godavari is one of the most awaited films in Telugu, as it has the in form Vishwak Sen as the main lead. The action drama is all set to hit the screens on May 17, 2024, and the teaser, which was revealed the other day, won the hearts of many.

The makers have started promoting the film on an aggressive note and now, we have come to know an interesting aspect about the movie. One of the sources close to the unit has revealed to us that Gangs of Godavari will have a sequel. This is something very interesting and will make the fans of Vishwak quite happy.

The young hero is seen in a very aggressive avatar in this film, and the promo showcases this in a superb manner. Vishwak Sen will be seen as a fisherman in this period drama set in the Godavari region. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film has a very realistic backdrop and is based on the fishing mafia in the Godavari region.

Vishwak Sen's next - Part 2

The news is that the director, Krishna Chaitanya, has readied part 2 as well and will make it only if the first part ends up becoming a hit. Neha Shetty plays the female lead in this film, and she looks gorgeous in the promos. The special aspect of Gangs of Godavari is that Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for this film.

The two songs released so far have been smash hits and have given the film a solid buzz before the release. Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainment is the producer of this film, and he is in superb form with back-to-back hits. His last film, Tillu Square, has become a blockbuster hit at the box office.

He has put a lot of money into Gangs of Godavari, and the film has been in the making for a long time now. Vishwak Sen was last seen in Gaami, which was also a smash hit at the box office.
