My experience at North High School was overall really well and beneficial. I would recommend that high school for kids going into high school. It is very diverse and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The administration and counselors will always help you when you need it. It also definitely prepares students and shows them what they need to do if they want to go to college. After my sophomore year, they did change something that I hope can change again, but I understand it was for safety reasons. They don’t let upperclassmen hang around outside the school due to maybe not enough security. This is very minor though. Wichita North High was a fantastic high school experience for me.
I do think my experience at North was the best experience I could receive out of all the schools in my area/ the Wichita area. I really enjoy how involved my teachers are in my grades and success because they hold me accountable. Although, North isn't very consistent when it comes to schedules and I.D./tardy rules.
My time at North has been great. North offers a lot of opportunities to help you with your future. We have a bio med program for students who want to be in medical field. And we have a future ready center if you want to be in a trade.
