Facebook App on Windows 10 Won't allow login

When I try to login to Facebook on a Surface Pro running Windows 10 I get the message:

I can get to my Facebook through a browser on my Surface and via the app and browser on my IOS devices and it all works OK.  Nowhere does there seem to be any way there of reviewing these data settings.

Hi DavidSawers,
I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

1. Try to reset Facebook app
Windows Key+i > Apps > Scroll down to Facebook App > Click this App > Advanced options > Reset

2. Windows Key+i > Apps > Scroll down to Facebook App > Click this App > Uninstall.
Reinstall from Microsoft Store again.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.
Sincerely yours,
Vijay A. Verma @ https://excelbianalytics.com

Please try these steps:

1. Open Settings app, go to System > Apps & features.

3. On the next page, click on Reset button.

4. Again click on Reset button in the warning/confirmation fly-out. This will reset the app.

I would suggest that try asking this question at Facebook forum. Looks like a server side problem rather than Windows problem.
