- Angelo M22 contributionsI was there during last Sunday of October with some friends. The trip to cheonggnamdae is by bus.... an old fashioned bus. After half hr you reach the bus parking area ( no possible to go by car : no parking are for car) and you find a BIG queue that are waiting the bus. The first visit suggested is to enter the main building and look at some historical museum. Here you can get for free a motto on a paper with old writers characters. Then you can choose different path and different duration. The time I was there all the trees were changing colours so was amazing. Along the path you will find statues of previous presidents of Korea. It is worthwhile to visit. Interesting place to go and spend a morning. - Henry TSingapore, Singapore54 contributionsWe decided to drop by the museum after Sangdangseong Fortress. The bus to Sangdangseong Fortress would pass by the museum. Entrance is free.
We visited the main exhibition. They displayed history of the region (Chungbok) as early as stone-age. It was a good learning experience to get to know the Korean history and specifically at the Chungbuk region. Gave us a better appreciation of Cheongju as a place.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - jeoDaejeon, South Korea1 contribution고인쇄박물관은 유네스코 직지심체요절을 가지고 있는 박물관입니다! 그리고 직지는 세계에서 가장 오래된 금속활자본이죠... 근처에 흥덕사지 같은 역사적 유물도 있어서 역사 투어로 가기 좋을 것 같습니다 역사에 관심이 있다면 어릴 적부터 한 번 쯤 가보기 좋을 것 같아요 전시 공간에 경험할 수 있는 게 많아서 아이들이랑 가기에도 좋을 것 같아요
Cheongju Early Printing Museum has the UNESCO 'Jikjisimcheyojeol', which is the oldest metal type in Korean history. Since there are more historical relics such as Heungdeok Temple Site nearby, it is a place worth visiting at least once for anyone interested in Korean history. This is an art museum remodeled from what was used as a tobacco factory, and as it is the National Museum of Art, it has a high level of exhibition. It has many spectacle like Lee Kunhee's collection, which is perfect if you are a cultured person. It is convenient to use because there is also a large parking lot. If you have time during your trip to Cheongju, I hope you have a good experience here.
