Peer Schneider is the General Manager of IGN Entertainment, responsible for the company’s overall strategy, content, product, and sales operations. As one of the founders, he laid the groundwork for a network that now reaches more than 100 million users across the web, apps, YouTube, and Snapchat Discover. Born and raised in Germany, Peer lived in Japan for many years, where he studied at Tokyo’s Sophia University and worked on projects for a variety of media companies, including Sony Music and MTV. In 1997, he joined publisher Imagine Media (now Future) as the editor-in-chief of N64.com. Peer was voted one of the top 10 media influencers on the Internet by Adweek Magazine.
