Leonor and Sofia stepped out at a museum for Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí yesterday.

They were taken on a tour of the facilities at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres in the province of Girona, Catalonia, ahead of the Princess of Girona Awards today.

Heir to the throne Leonor donned a red and white £69.99 dress from Mango for the outing, while her younger sister wore a £299 cream frock from Claudie Pierlot.

This was the siblings’ second joint outing without their parents; in July 2021, the princesses planted trees in the protected forest area of Hayedo de Montejo in Madrid, along with a group of other teenagers.

She has enrolled on a £67,000, two-year course to study for her International Baccalaureate diploma at the school.

Situated in a 12th century castle in the Vale of Glamorgan, the school offers activities and subjects like Tai Chi and Tibetan literature, leading it to be nicknamed 'Hippie Hogwarts'.

UWC Atlantic College has a proven track record educating royalty. King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands studied there in the Eighties and Belgian heir to the throne Princess Elisabeth graduated last year.
