According to her LinkedIn, Verret received a degree in business from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business. She previously worked as an event coordinator for The Birthday Party Project, an organization that aims to bring "joy to children experiencing homelessness through the magic of a birthday celebration."
Now, Jordan Spieth and his wife run their non-profit, the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation. According to its website, the company was inspired by Spieth's sister, Ellie, and provides "financial assistance and a platform for supporting children with special needs, military families, junior golf programs and pediatric cancer."
Verret has also been a constant support throughout her husband's prolific career. Following a particularly challenging drought between 2017 and 2021, in which Spieth went 1,351 days without winning a game, he praised his wife for helping him work through his toughest moments. "She's just been that person that said, 'Whatever you need to do, I'm here to support you, let me know how I can help, let me know when too much is too much, let me know when it's not enough,'" he told reporters. "She's been really unbelievable."
