Reviews
- Nice reissue. Packaging is great and the sound was as well. No noise (I usually clean my albums first through an ultrasonic cleaner) and decided to play this right out of the sleeve.
- Very VERY noisy pressing. The background hiss between tracks is reminiscent of listening to something on cassette. Such a shame.
- Excellent reissue!! Happy they reproduced the glossy cover with attached booklet (only wish the photos weren’t so dark and/or washed out). The colored vinyl is quiet and sounds great with either true stereo or mono tracks used, unlike the original which sounded horrible.
- Edited 8 days agoBrilliant re-issue. If only it had been mastered like this in the first place instead of creating fake stereo mixes of mono tracks. You wouldn't get that with the Rolling Stones or The Beatles compilations i'm sure of it.
- Was a bit apprehensive about shelling out the money for this. I have older versions of this album that sound dismal at best. I was pleasantly surprised to find this set isn’t horrible. Is it audiophile quality? No. But it is an improvement over the OG’s floating around. It’s pricey but a cool addition to any rock collection. All the music is from the Keith Moon era of the band.
- Great selection of tracks for a best off. In my ears, sound really good. Totally worth it if youre looking to add some The Who to your collection and you want their best tracks. Extra points for the booklets and color lps
