As a small residential liberal arts college in Walla Walla, Washington, Whitman is rooted in the traditional liberal arts values like critical thought and academic rigor. The Whitman Internship Grant provides funding for students to participate in unpaid internship experiences at nonprofit, some for-profit, and government organizations during the school year, Fall or Spring semester, and during the summer.
