- HypnoWarriorPorirua, New Zealand1,117 contributionsWe got here too late to go inside, but we wandered around outside the impressive palace.. There are lots of statues all around the gardens at the gardens at the back are even more impressive. Each of the "paved" tracks leading to another city. Lots of thought went into the construction of this place and would love to be here when they do a "light" show (looks amazing from the videos I have seen) .
We nearly got locked in (and would have had to take a much longer route out) as they close and lock the main gates from between the front and back in the evening (around sunset)Written January 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Playgrounds for children and grown ups of all ages.
Love the little boat rides.
Price is a bit steep - so if you consider visiting multiple times, save some money and buy an annual pass.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had to wait for an age to be served in both places whilst the staff talked among themselves and didn't even acknowledge that we were waiting. The woman selling tickets failed to tell us that we needed to leave our coats in the garderobe so we had to walk all the way from the first exhibit to do this. Not a huge deal, but rather annoying.Written April 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- ChrisSchumacherKönigstein im Taunus, Germany333 contributionsWell, Badisches Staatstheater is not the best opera house in architecture, as so many post war buildings in Germany aren't. But what's on offer is world class actually, the orchestra is impeccable, the staging very creative and tasteful, and the staff friendly and 'badisch', a unique German slang one has to get used to...
Went to Wagners Walküre March 4th and had a blast! Staging was awesome, lots of scene changes and magnificent world class singers, not to forget the orchestra, too.
If you go here in a tuxedo and bow tie you'll be watched strangely, as crowd mostly consists of grey dressed federal state workers who tend to dress not to make a scene, quite boring actually. Not much eye candy. But the food and drinks are very good, caterer is excellent and I highly recommend to order in advance to get your drinks and food on a reserved table during breaks, saves you the lines!!! And you got more time for the loo ;-)
After 5 hours of Wagner met with one of the singers in their casino down in the basements of this theater and had a blast! What a nice crowd and party, they really love their jobs and it shows!!! Wish it were like that in every day life!Written March 5, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inside was the Badisches Landesmuseum or Baden State Museum, with objects dating from prehistory to the modern times. Particularly interesting was the archaeological section as well as the applied arts one.Written February 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peyresourde83 contributionsWe visited this high-wire park with two children aged 9&10 who are experienced with these kinds of activities. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Access is determined by age not height - there were 7 routes our kids could do, with others open to over 13s. The park was busy but we didn't have to wait to use most routes. There were plenty of staff in hand throughout the park to advise/ supervise. The routes were well-maintained and fun.Written August 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
