"Wedding Crashers" Eastern Shore Scene?

Okay - just got back from seeing the "Wedding Crashers" movie - what a riot!! We recognized the Inn at Perry Cabin as the scene for the wedding, but couldn't place the large white house in which the after wedding scenes took place. Was it actually a home on the eastern shore, does anyone know?

Could it be the Inn at Easton?

i guess i'm being dense, but i couldn't see where they listed the locations on that link.

i haven't seen the movie yet, hope to next week and now will definitely be keeping an eye out. i live about 1/2 mile from perry cabin. i actually remember now that people were talking about a film crew in town last year. i guess some people lost hotel reservations to make room for them. now i wish i had kept my eyes out more to see some of the stars.

Funny thing - I went all through most of that site and could only find that some scenes were filmed in Maryland, DC, and LA. So I am still wondering the same question and still being dense.

this is all they said in the film's production notes. no further detail than perry cabin so it must have been a private estate....

After a week of filming in Washington, D. C., the production moved to its final locations in the Maryland Eastern Shore towns of Cambridge, Easton and St. Michaels. The first order of business for the filmmakers was shooting the opulent reception that would match the Cleary wedding ceremony shot in Los Angeles. With 500 extras dressed in tuxedos and formal dresses, a 20-piece orchestra and a $5,000 wedding cake, the waterfront grounds of the Inn At Perry Cabin resort would serve as the backdrop for the lavish reception.

For five-time Academy Award-nominated set decorator Garrett Lewis, pulling off the reception required his crew to prepare two separate locations - the first would include the resort's colonial setting and lush grounds while the latter would be shot inside a 60' x 120' reception tent on another piece of waterfront property a few miles away.

in talking to a friend today, i found out another friend was an extra in the movie. i'll see this person next week, so i'll find out what information she has on the locations. (i guess i was living under a rock last spring as i missed all of it)

apparently, one of the extras showed up in an outfit that left nothing to the imagination. owen wilson singled her out and she became his "girlfriend" while he was in town shooting. (yuck)

i finally saw the movie---hilarious!!--- and the estate used for the family home is ellenborough. it is in easton, on peachblossom creek which is off of the tred avon river. it is currently for sale for $16.5 million. it has been for sale for quite a while and it can probably be yours for less than $9mm. this real estate company is known for doubling values. (wheatlands--4th listing on the link below--was originally listed at $12mm and sold for $4.9mm)

they were sailing near our home which was fun to see. if you took a right, you headed up toward our dock.

What a shame - I liked to think that Owen Wilson was just a sweet boy from Texas.

I wondered (or thought) if the reception may have been at "Harbortowne" near St Michaels. What are the thoughts?

the cleary reception was filmed mostly at perry cabin. they also set up a tent at a nearby farm for the shots inside the tent. so harbourtowne wasn't used. the view from there is wide open water while perry cabin is in more of a cove.

I was wondering if anyone knew where the apartment/brownstone scenes were shot from Wedding Crashers? The scene where Vince Vaughn was going to see Owen Wilson after he was depressed, to invite him to his wedding. Are those scenes shot in Maryland too? And if so where in Maryland?
