The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood boasts a lively atmosphere and unique guitar-shaped design, which has captivated many visitors. While the amenities, including diverse dining choices, pools, and the casino, receive high marks, some guests have voiced concerns over service management and the quality of these offerings. Accommodations are a mix of spacious and well-maintained to those with cleanliness and noise issues, leading to mixed opinions on room comfort. Despite the hotel's immaculate areas, travelers often feel the experience doesn't justify the steep prices, citing service and maintenance inconsistencies.

I received an offer to go for a 2 day stay. I called customer service ahead of travel and they confirmed pricing, fees, amenities etc. I arrived and it was all of a sudden different. The desk clerk was rude and told me I was lying and I didnt know what i was talking about. She checked me in and escalated my concerns to management to further confirm my pricing. I got my keys and couldn't find my room. I asked the girl in the gift shop and she said she didnt know how to get to my room. I asked an employee in the food court and they didnt know either. Finally the bellman assisted me. I found it sad that the employees cant assist a guest. I got to my room and saw that the rooms have tape closing the doors shut showing sanitized. This made me feel comfortable until I got to my room and the tape was ripped. I opened the door and found a man sitting under the sink talking on the phone. He said he was maintenance and quickly left. I took my own liberty to sanitize my own room. It was very nice and comfortable. The casino, which I did visit a couple times made me feel very uncomfortable. They stated temperature checks and masks but i did not see compliance especially from people smoking. The guy taking temp checks just stood at the door and let people walk by. I asked another employee where the steakhouse was and they didnt know either. I dined at hardrock cafe which went above and beyond for covid procedures. This made me feel comfortable eating there. The italian restaurant and the steak restaurant also had high standards for covid procedures. The italian restaurant didnt have very good service in the bar area for it's high prices. Overall on my 3 day stay I didnt feel comfortable gambling with the loose restrictions in the casino for covid. My room was nice and after 3 repeated attempts with staff and management they researched the call from customer service, which was recorded and found that the information they gave me was correct and I was right. So their rudeness at check in was unwarranted. The staff here is rude and definitely not accommodating. No one made recommendations or went above and beyond in any way to assist me and the ones I did talk to were definitely uneducated in thier business where they work to give directions or recommendations of their hotel. Sad to see that hard rock doesnt invest in training their staff. I definitely have to reconsider another trip to this hotel/ casino in the future.

Let me start by saying this place is beautiful. Our room was in the guitar tower and it was beautiful as well. There were enough drawers and shelves to stay for a month. The bathroom had 2 sinks and a huge shower with 3 options. There were so many light switches but some, like the foyer and bathroom, were automatic and turning some off was a challenge but fun. Very up to date. We had a pool view and what a view it was - incredible. The bed was comfortable but I brought my own pillows because of covid. There is a Keurig coffee pot and frig in the room but I needed someone to come up and show me how to work the pot, the directions did not say to turn off brew and turn on heat first. oh well. As for covid, as soon as you walk in the door your temp is taken and you sanitize your hands. Sanitizer is everywhere and you are asked to keep your mask on. Problem is, in the casino, every other machine in not useable but if someone is gambling behind you, I doubt it's 6'. During the day it isn't a problem but at night they are very busy and some people do remove their mask or wear it improperly. It made me uncomfortable.
The restaurants are expensive. We ate breakfast in the food court where only one establishment was open. I had a bagel and my husband had a sandwich and coffees and our bill came to $25. There was one restaurant opened for breakfast and while it was expensive, I think it would have been a better choice. We never returned to the food court.
We ate dinner at Caprissios; it was high end but service was excellent and the food very good. Now the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. Noone came to clean our room. When my husband asked a maid in the hallway, she said the maid didn't come to work and she didn't have time. She gave us a bag of clean towels but wouldn't take the used ones. When my husband complained at check out, he was told it was due to covid - they weren't cleaning rooms. The first day my husband went looking for ice but couldn't find it. I called the front desk and was told the machines were removed (due to covid?). I could get ice in dining, whatever that meant. next day, I called room service and was told to get it from the ice machines and when I told her there were none, she insisted there were. She was right. I know these are minor complaints but this shouldn't happen in a 5* establishment. Other than that, the employees were very pleasant if not helpful.

My experience started with a room that wasn’t ready and having to wait for an undefined period of time (which seemed to be common practice on that day) to be able to check-in, after an 9 hour flight. After explaining that, the receptionist managed to get me fairly quickly into a very large room so I could rest.

The room was clean, with two large comfortable beds, a balcony with views on the swimming pools and gardens, and a huge bathroom with towels aplenty and toiletries supplied. No smoke or other odd smell.

Breakfast can never be included or bought together with the price of your room since there’s a whole complex of restaurants offering breakfast (but not the Café) and that was a little disappointment as I wanted to experience breakfast the Hard Rock way, but the other options offered were fine.

The hotel is on Seminole land, which means the law that bans smoking indoors isn’t enforced and smoking is allowed on the casino floor, which also happens to be the hotel ground floor and walking around the casino/ground/restaurant floor is not enjoyable for a non-smoker (and shocking if you’re not aware of Seminole laws).

With hindsight, this hotel, while the room was much larger, didn’t match the experience at Hard Rock Hotel London and I wouldn’t enjoy spending more than a weekend there, mostly due to the smoke smell... but overall, my experience was great.

Thank you for sharing with us your mostly great experience at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. We are disappointed to hear that your room hadn't been fully prepared prior to your arrival. If you prefer a smoke-free experience while in the casino, please visit our new 7,500 square foot fully enclosed smoke-free gaming area. Inside guests will find an impressive selection of more than 200 slots accepting a wide range of monetary denominations, from pennies to $5 slots. The new gaming room is conveniently located near the Winners Way Garage entrance. Also, smoking is prohibited in the restrooms, restaurants, retail promenade, convention area and our public walkways. We wish you the very best and hope you’ll be back to see us again soon!

Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is simply stunning from the minute you enter from Route 441. It's a masterpiece (except they forgot to add a Hot Tub in the Guitar Tower multi-level pool area) that should be seen and explored to be appreciated. From the smallest detail to the most elaborate. From entering the new Guitar Tower lobby to the expanded Casino to the variety of pools.

We still prefer the old tower pool area. Less congested and the waterfalls are so relaxing (plus they have 2 hot tubs!)

Many restaurants from the Food Court to 5 star dining. Food for all tastes. The buffet needs to add a breakfast option for the old tower guests. It's a 6 minute walk to Rise the only true breakfast restaurant at the far end of the Guitar Tower across the entire casino floor. Rise is great but a bit pricey and shy in portions. 15 bucks for a basic breakfast with 1 slice of toast. 4 for coffee. No more 2 plus 2 plus 2 that includes pancakes an old favorite of ours.

The food court and Hard Rock Cafe offer affordable and surprisingly delicious food options. Great atmosphere in the new Cafe.

The Guitar Tower light show as the title suggests is "spectacular". Now the Guitar Tower need to add the world's largest guitar shaped Hot Tub and find a better use than the hardly used paddle board man made pond. Maybe add fountains or cut the cost drastically for paddle boards and paddle boat rentals to 10 bucks an hour. It does act as a great reflecting pond for the Guitar Tower light show every evening at 730 and 830. Add some fountains!!

The casino looks great and good music is pumped in. Needs a nightly live entertainment option. My only real complain is that the casino slot selection people went 99% all in on new style bright lights and gimmics machines that don't let patrons actually sit down at a machine and play for awhile. Very few winners. Machines are set to put out a 100 bucks once in awhile but it's mostly take take take and in 5 days only we only saw 2 actual winners over $500 (not counting high limit room or high limit machines). We prefer the old style machines. Had to go to Coconut Creek to find them but it's way too smoky there.

Overall, an amazing place to visit at least once or twice. To get return patrons the Seminole's will have to tweak a few things. Hot Tub in the Guitar Tower, breakfast buffet and return more of the old style slots that tend to allow more play on the same budget.

1. Went for husband’s birthday- scheduled months in advance. Organized and paid for with concierge for champagne charcuterie and decorations to be in a room prior to arrival. We get there AND NOTHING.

2. Worked with very professional and nice manager who tried to resolve the situation but by that time my husband was so disappointed in the overall experience of the hotel for the price being paid, he didn’t want the surprise all. No one did.

3. Housekeeping only available for after a four day stay and was not informed of this at reservation time.

4. Short staffed. Half of the restaurants in the hotel were closed most of the time. Waited at least 30 minutes for a decent cup of coffee every morning.

5. Overall hotel room was dated and don’t spring for a room with a balcony- it’s basically a small pad of concrete with rusty rails and patio furniture- not even a table or chair!

My husband and I went to the hard rock as a birthday celebration for my brother. We wanted to stay in the new guitar hotel but they were booked so the sales woman on the phone said that she could give us a connecting room at a great rate. We were under the impression that we were getting two rooms with a connecting door but when we got to the hotel we discovered that it was only one room. My brother was very disappointed because he was expecting a guest. The manager at the hotel apologized and said that he would review the call. He also gave us a credit on the room for room service. We then got an additional call from someone else who promised to give us comp dollars on my wild card and they also apologized for the mix up. I thought that was a very nice gesture and thought wow they are really trying to make things right for us. However, when I went to the wild card desk they said that nothing was on my card and they couldn’t believe someone promised us that. I was disappointed because we waisted hours trying to figure out how to get enjoy what was promised to us. The hotel itself was beautiful but it was a headache dealing with all the extra problems.

Went to Hard Rock Live in Hollywood Florida on Saturday evening for Steve Martin and Martin Short show. The show was hilarious but the facility was less than a laughing matter. Arriving two hours prior to show forced me to park on upper level of Lucky Street garage. Of the two banks of elevators, about 8 in all, only 2 shafts were in service. Unchanged upon exiting hours later showed this condition persisted with the thousands who parked on upper levels left stranded. None of the restaurants “Fine Dining” (and very overpriced) restaurants had open tables forcing long lines at all “casual dining” understaffed restaurants. A table at the Hard Rock Cafe bore a wait of an hour and a half. The next option to make an 8pm show time was the food court where lines wrapped around the venue for ordering the equivalent of airport food. By the time we got to order many food choices were sold out. Unless you like to gamble and enjoy overcrowded poorly run venues avoid this money hungry badly run Hard Rock.

Been here about 15x in past year
Don’t believe the bad reviews.
We never had a problem with staff or cleanliness, this place is a true paradise, these people that complain either don’t gamble or love to complain, we are always treated well by all hosts, comp food and rooms, don’t complain if you lose money, it’s called gambling and most of the time u will lose, if u can’t afford don’t play. The hard rock gets my vote and you pay for your experience 5 STAR!!!!!!

I don’t recommend anyone to stay in this hotel only for one reason “to avoid dealing with the front desk” .I’m a loyal guest in Seminole hard rock I go every week to gamble I spend over 150k last couple months and rarely to stay there unless if I have my family come to visit me from NY,
I have my uncle come to visit me this week for couple day and we decide to stay there for 2 nights.
Once I arrived to check in {terre} one of the front desk agent was super rude and disrespectful he was mad because I ask him to call his manager to check if I can get an upgrade he’s answer was (my manager is busy and I’m not gonna call her to speak with you either take the room or I can cancel the reservation)
My uncle was super tired from the trip which is make me accept the room
We went to the room and the beds and the shower was used the carpet not vacuumed and some cotton in the bathroom when you see the room view you feel your self staying in motel 01, full of AC fans front of you
I try to call the front desk manager by the phone no answer
I went to speak with her I ask another agent for supervisor or manager after 15 min waiting
The manager come outside and I told her the situation and instead of apology she was rudest than the agent.
this moment I realized that my vacation will be awful
When I ask her for the reason I didn’t get an upgrade this time she say it’s based on how much you gambling,
Last year my gambling spending was over 150k
In this hotel
this manager makes me feel how stupid they deal with the loyal guest and how business lose there guests
By the way I am a front desk manager in one of the 5 stars hotel in south beach
Hard rock was my favorite place and i was spending all my money and free time over there but not anymore I rather book a fight to Vegas and don’t go and Don’t deal with those people.
