Having worked and dined in Little Italy in Manhattan for 20 + years, I was very impressed with La Bella Napoli, friendly staff, the ambiance and the food was spectacular. I had the Baked Clams followed by Zuppa Di Pesce...Bellissimo 🍷 Enjoyed it so much, we are going back tonight

Great Dining Experience at a Fair Price

Great experience, small house-like atmosphere, excellent food, fair price. We had a group of five and if our guests were’t hell bent on drinking two bottles of wine and a couple of scotches, we would have been right around a hundred buck for dinner. On recommendations (here), the bruschetta is a must-order appetizer. It comes on their little house rolls and is a spectacular blend to tomatoes, pesto, garlic. I had the lasagna as my main, but group also had stuffed flounder. Would have never picked this for an Italian dinner, but it worked. Canola and coffee at the end was proper conclusion The only negative was that our table was near the entry door—every time somebody came in or out, a swarm of no-see-ems charged our table. Reservations are a must.

Perfect!

Three of us were there for an early Sunday dinner. It was recommended by our AirbnB host, and we are so grateful! Everything from the appetizers to dessert was absolutely delicious. The servers were friendly, helpful, and seemed happy to be there. Add to that a warm, intimate atmosphere, with sound-absorbing decor that allowed us and other patrons to converse quietly, EVEN with pleasant background music, and we marked it perfect!

Not the best first impression…

In short, not the best. Most likely we wont return. It took over an hour just to get bread, longer for our appetizer. I think their dining room is too large compared to the capabilities of the kitchen. We were seated (6-of us) in the back room. There was a table of 14 - we were squeezed in behind them. Another table of 3, and 4. The party of 3 that came in 1/2 hour after us had third bread and salad within a few minutes …. We still waited and had to ASK if we could get some bread. Waitress brought our bread and salads immediately… the two gluten free pasta meals were sub par. My meal was great, stuffed flounder and shrimp. 4 shrimp and 1/2 a small fillet. Maybe just an off night… I don’t know.. but the wait was way too long.. When we were asked if we wanted desert - my son said, we need to have breakfast first.

Favorite of locals and tourists alike ....

Tucked away in the middle of Weeki Wachee, FL, you will find a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant. La Bella Napoli will not disappoint as they serve a nice variety of Italian entrees you will enjoy. I eat here often, as does my motorcycle club every Christmas. Cash or credit and ample parking will provide you with a pleasant evening. I hope this review helps you, when you're in the area.

Best veal

The veal parmigiana is spectacular im in New York often and la bella Napoli tops them all it’s like biter so tasty advise you not to get the early bird when ordering veal it’s to good, you will be looking for more. Order off the regular menu for a bit higher

Talk about a Hidden Gem!

I was conflicted in writing this review as I don't want to fight for a table! I travel and have eaten my share of Italian food from the US and beyond and this place took me back to some of the best of NewHaven or RI. This is not a pizza joint and its in FL! This is not about upscale ambiance this is about REAL southern Italy dishes! If you want a meal and wine that will roll your eyeballs and leave you reminiscing a week later this is the place!

What a great little find! The menu was large, the prices wonderful (not ala cart - salad and bread included) and the service (Paul) wonderful! It was a funky layout but very cool! Loved it. Go There!

Pretty good! We made reservations for a Friday evening, but still waited quite some time and even waited a while to be greeted. After we sat down, everything was great. Laura was our server and she was very personable and attentive! We ordered mozzarella marinara, seafood serafino, chicken caprese (a special), and split a tiramisu for dessert. We're pretty picky about tiramisu and this one was not great. We heard another server talking about a chocolate mousse thing and we should have gone with that! For 2 people, we ordered 1 app, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert and our total WITH tip was $105. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been!

Best Veal Anywhere

We have been here twice now and can confirm that this is one of the two best restaurants in Hernando County. We had veal dishes both times and they were fabulous. They have a good selection of Italian wines , excellent soup and salad. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and cordial. The prices are very reasonable. We recommend this place unconditionally..

Great choice!

I’ve only been to weeki wachee a few times but wanted to find a good Italian place. I made the RIGHT choice. I had Italian tour and it was very enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Atmosphere is great as well. I made reservations for 6 pm on Sunday and we were seated right away. Only reason it’s 4 instead of 5 is there are no dishes with pesto.

Wanted real Italian food

We were driving around to find a real Italian restaurant and pulled up to this one. We were at first greeted great and then looked at my husband who had a stroke and wearing a bike week shirt and instantly was told no tables when clearly at 3pm there was a lot. We found a restaurant that was great and we don’t mind throwing down a 100.00 for good food. Shame on you

Was absolutely terrible. 3 of us went. 2 had Shrimp Scampi, which would best described as chicken soup with shrimp, one order had 3 shrimp the other had 4 shrimp, but like chicken soup with shrimp replacing the chicken, absolutely tasteless. The 3rd had stuffed shells...he couldn't eat it. We had an appetizer of garlic bread, no taste. We mentioned it to the server, he took it to the kitchen, sprinkled a bit of garlic and brought it back to the table, not reheated..just cold. We made it in time for the early bird special. Which included bread & butter, soup or salad, and coffee or soda, we only got offered the soup/salad, nothing more. A total disappointment. Needless to say, I tipped accordingly. The bill came to $43 and change..I rounded it off to $45 (And that was excessive) Sad part, if you complain..the normal excuse now is because of COVID-19, (A BS excuse)

I have dined there many times I've never had even a questionable meal I've taken a lot of people there in my opinion is the best Italian restaurant in the Spring Hill area. I usually always have the zupa da mare which is always wonderful on nice glass of Chianti make the whole thing come together lovely staff great food how could you ask for more
