River Conditions

When planning any river trip it is critical to monitor river flows leading up to your launch day. Optimal flows are between 100 cfs and 200 cfs on the Devils.

The Devils is a flashy system, meaning water levels can rise very quickly. Even a small rain can cause moderate flood conditions and inundation of island areas. For your safety, it is critical to keep an eye on flow levels and weather forecasts.

Bakers Crossing

Bakers Crossing is the northern most launch site on the Devils River - Check the flows HERE

Pafford Crossing

Pafford Crossing is one of the southern most flow gauges on the Devils - near the TPWD Dan A Hughes Unit. Check river flows at Pafford Crossing HERE.
